At close to 150 km², Brest Bay is famous for its nautical activities and for hosting major events (festivals and concerts).

    Right by Pointe Saint-Mathieu, travel back in time in this exceptional German command blockhaus or bunker. Over 5 floors, discover an exhibition which focuses on personal stories and anecdotes, portrayed in thousands of objects, documents and photographs. Take in the unique panoramic view from the kiosks on the bunker’s roof, over the entrance to Brest Bay, from the Crozon peninsula to the island of Ouessant. Open all year round.

  • Berthaume Fort ↔ 6 km

    This small island, which has been inhabited since prehistoric times, was home to the Château of the Dukes of Brittany, before being fortified by Vauban in the 17th century. Today, Bertheaume Fort offers a space for exhibitions, events and an adventure trail. The fort is open to visitors every day in summer from 11 am to 6 pm. Open July and August.

    Ouessant, Molène: only an hour on a boat, but a world away! Climb aboard for an exciting day-trip, and plan ahead by booking your ticket directly at reception. From Le Conquet, two ferry companies offer trips to the islands: Penn ar Bed and Finist’Mer. Book your tickets for both companies at hotel reception when you arrive!   • Archipel Excursion ↔ 5 km

    Leaving from Le Conquet Port, Archipel Excursion offers trips on board a Zodiac to discover the Molène archipelago. See seals and dolphins in their natural habitat. Setting out from Le Conquet, explore the Iroise Sea, discover its seals, its dolphins, its sea-birds, its flora, its lighthouses.   • Les Blanc Sablons beach ↔ 9 km

    This huge, 2.5 km long beach is exposed to the winds and is an excellent spot for surfing. You will be able to rent equipment there, from the designated shop. This stretch of unspoilt coast is also perfect for bathing and foraging for seafood. You’ll find mussels, abalones, and periwinkles.
  • Minou Surf School ↔ 11 km

    Minou Surf School was set up and is run by Yann Salaun (two times French champion and European Champion). Its aim is to teach surfing to enthusiasts of all ages, but it also rents out equipment (Paddle, Surf, Kayak). Depending on the weather, lessons take place between Porsmilin, Le Minou and Les Blancs Sablons.

  • Trézien lighthouse ↔ 16 km

    From the top of the lighthouse, discover unforgettable panoramic views over the Molène archipelago and the island of Ouessant. The guided tour, in small groups of twelve people, will introduce you to the islands, the history of the lighthouse and its role.
